I’m so excited about our garden which is going in next week. I’ll never forget my daughter taking me for a nature walk around the marsh near our home she showed me the edible plants that the Native Americans gathered, mallow peas, wild radish, fennel, miners leuttuce. I was amazed and empowered to know that one could live off the land. Gardening, growing our own food feels like that. Happy eating. MJC

Hi my name is Mauricio, I am student on horticulture at City College of San Francisco, on spring 2013 am taking a class ( work experience) that require 4 hrs a week of community cervice for the next 4 month.
Since, I live in San Rafael, I am looking to do the community service locally.
I have inexperience in gardening, construction, irrigation, IPM.
I am willing to learn more from people’s already on the fiel of landscaping.
-build sustainable community gardens is my goal.
